Kiran Sahu of Infowt designed and developed the BNI Games app and website, making it easier for members to submit referrals, thank-you notes, and one-to-one meetings throughout the month. His technical contribution helped the committee manage the games smoothly and earned him special recognition.
Some of the most rewarding technology projects bring people together and make their work easier. For me, designing and developing the BNI Games app and website was one such experience.
As a member of the BNI Alpha (Games Committee) I had the opportunity to contribute both to the organising team and to the technology supporting the event. Being honoured for this contribution made the experience even more special.
A Collaborative Effort
BNI Games was supported by a dedicated committee, including Kamlesh Motwani, Yash Chopra, Dr. Vibha Jaiswwal, Saurabh Gupta, Sandeep Swarnakar, and me, Kiran Sahu.
Each member contributed to bringing the games to life. My responsibility was to design and develop the technical platform through Infowt, giving participants a convenient way to submit their activities and helping the committee manage the games throughout the month.
Turning a Month of Activities into One Simple Experience
The games involved ongoing participation, with members submitting their BNI activities throughout the month. The platform needed to support that daily use while keeping the experience straightforward.
Using the app, participants uploaded their:
- Referrals
- Thank-you notes
- One-to-one meeting details
- Other BNI activity statistics relevant to the games
Bringing these submissions together in one platform made it easier for members to record their contributions and for the committee to keep the games moving.
Designed to Make Participation Easy
My focus was simple: the technology should make participation easier at every step.
I designed and developed the app and website around the practical needs of the games. Members needed a smooth experience they could return to throughout the month, and the organising team needed a consistent place to collect their activity submissions.
The platform became part of the participants’ routine. Throughout the month, members used it to upload their referrals, thank-you notes, one-to-one meetings, and other statistics.
Seeing people use something I had built to support a shared activity was the most satisfying part of the project.
Making the Games Easier to Manage
The app played an important role in simplifying the overall operation of BNI Games.
With participants submitting their activities through a common platform, the committee could manage the flow of information more easily. The technology provided practical support for the team’s efforts and helped make a month of ongoing participation more manageable.
This project reinforced something I value deeply in my work at Infowt: useful technology starts with understanding the people who will use it and the work they need to get done.
An Honour That Made the Journey Special
I was honoured for my contribution to designing and developing the technology behind BNI Games.
That recognition means a great deal to me. It reflects the trust placed in my work and the value the platform brought to the event.
I am grateful to my fellow committee members for their collaboration and to every participant who used the platform throughout the month. Their involvement gave the technology its purpose.

BNI Games was a meaningful opportunity to contribute as a committee member, a developer, and the person behind Infowt’s technical contribution.
The experience strengthened my commitment to building practical digital solutions that simplify work and support collaboration. I look forward to carrying these lessons into future projects.
